My first blog post.

Well first off, I want to say a very warm welcome to you for visiting my very first blog post.  Its 2023 and blogging is probably not as exciting as watching videos on Youtube or Tik Tok.  But as I explore this new to me way of writing about some of my experiences, I am excited to do this whole blogging thing. 

So why blogging you may ask?  Well, I can’t really say exactly why but I have always thought to just start writing about some of my experiences I have encountered over the years.  Almost like journaling but for everyone to read, I guess.  Being a wildlife and nature photographer there are so many times that I have been left speechless while out in nature and more often than not I am either alone or with a very small group of like-minded people.  So instead of forgetting about some of these experiences I want to start sharing them with my followers. 

My goal is to bring some of these experiences to life with some writing and photos to go with them.  Kind of bring you along on my adventures type of thing.  Even though English grammar is not always my strongest asset I’m sure for those who know me will somehow understand what I’m trying to communicate, ha-ha.  This is supposed to be a fun, informative and for sure informal blog.  And for those that don’t know me yet well I hope that you will also be able to tag along and bear with me on my sub-par grammar.

 I’m hoping to tell stories from the field and even share some of the things that my guests and myself are up to while on a safari.  Maybe I will write about some gear that I have used in the past or even maybe some tips or tricks either in photography/ videography or going on a safari as an example.  I am not entirely sure where this will lead me but that is kind of an exciting thing. 

I truly hope you will enjoy this journey with me.  It’s going to be a learning curve for myself but then again, I have always been one for a challenge.  So, thank you in advance for following along and I hope that I will be able to write something on a regular basis.
